This project is based on a retrospective look at the hand-craftsmanship of the kibbutz movement, and inspired by a hand carved woodwork my father made for my grandmother. As the chisel causes chips to fly, so the laser burns lines through the carton.
This project stands as an attempt to join together old and new, the inexpensive with the innovative, father to son.

Ce projet dérive d'une rétrospective visant l'artisanat du kibboutz d'Eretz Israël. Puisant son inspiration dans le bois taillé par son père à l'intention de sa grand-mère passant par le burin qui découpe de copeaux de bois, pour aboutir au laser qui trace le linéaire cartonné. Ce projet se veux comme tâche de relier l'ancien et le nouveau, le bon marché et le cher, le père et le fils.
